Have you ever looked at the products you buy on a continual basis and see if they are from one particular brand? I did this recently and found that our family is a P&G family. Usually I buy products that I am familiar with, have grown up with, or have family and friends rave about. And, more times than not, each and every product is from the popular and loved P& G brand.
Take for instance paper products. We use Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper in the bathrooms and have Bounty paper towels in the kitchen and at the bar (ready to tackle any spills the girls may make) -- both of these products are from Proctor and Gamble. I am a fan of Pantene hair hair products, but also stock up on Head and Shoulders during the winter months to combat dry hair and dandruff. My husband is a Gillette Mach 3 and Fusion razor man, while I love Venus razors, as they always give me a close, smooth shave, without the irritation like others razors so. We brush our teeth with Crest toothpaste, using Oral B soft bristle toothbrushes. And, when it comes to doing laundry, we have Tide on hand, along with Downy. My mom always tells me to have Dawn on hand not just for the dishes, but to use when trying to get stains out of the girls clothes. So, if you come to my house, you will oftentimes find me soaking their clothes in the sink after rubbing a little Dawn into the stains -- "Thanks, Mom, as this works all the time!" The girls are still in diapers, and our go-to brand has always been Pampers, as they don't irritate the girls' skin like other diapers -- and most importantly, prevent blowouts and leaks. This past weekend, we opened up the windows to let the fresh air in, now that the spring weather is upon us, and grabbed Febreze products to spray all throughout the house, and followed up with a handful of Swiffer products for dusting around the house and cleaning up the wood floors with. Now, the house is smelling and looking great, thanks to P&G. Even the dog is a fan of P&G, as she loves Iams dry and wet dog food. :-)
I could go on and on about all the P& G products that we use and love, but I am guessing you will find many of these products in your house, too. No wonder why P&G has won so many awards and is celebrated by most families. Did you catch the brandSAVER® coupon booklet in the March 31st Sunday paper? This booklet is filled with some great money saving coupons on some of P&G's "Most Loved" products. I made a point to pick up two papers that Sunday, just so I could get extra coupons to use towards upcoming purchases of Cover Girl, Olay, Pantene, Tide and more -- all from P&G. So, if you still have your past newspapers laying around, make sure you pull out the brandSAVER® coupon booklet, to save!!

Until I read this, I never really gave a thought to whether we lean towards one manufacturer or not. It appears that we do since we use Dawn, Pantene, Swiffer, Bounty, and Febreeze to name a few. My favorite is Dawn though. Best dish detergent on the market, hands down!
ReplyDeleteTide, always will be my favorite laundry detergent, all I buy.
